This Is the Moment

“Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created.” – Esther 4:14

It’s amazing how one verse can carry you through so many seasons. For me, that verse has been Esther 4:14. It was there in the quiet moments, the hard decisions, the unexpected detours—and the beautiful, brave beginnings.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, everything changed. My world became filled with doctor visits, a double mastectomy, radiation treatments, and a new normal that included medication and regular doctor visits. But in the midst of it all, I began to see things more clearly.

Cancer didn’t just shift my body—it shifted my heart.
I realized I wasn’t doing what I truly wanted to do. I wasn’t walking in the purpose I felt called to.

I had already started Maggie Mae’s Boutique, but in the wake of all that change, I made the bold decision to step away from the good job I had in an education career that spanned 25 years and build something new from the ground up. That something became 4Twenty4 Printed Apparel and Promos—a business built on encouragement, creativity, and connection.

The verse from Esther has remained close to my heart through it all.
“Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created.”
It reminds me that my purpose isn't behind me. It is still unfolding. And maybe—just maybe—this new season is what I was made for all along.
